Merit Electric Company is a member of the National Electrical Contractors Association and employ's only qualified licensed electricians.

 

  

Larry Neuman

Larry graduated from High School in 1963.  He attended college for two years and then enrolled in a 6 year electrical construction program at Saint Paul Technical College.  Larry worked in the electrical field for 17 years as a Foreman for a large electrical contractor, and then took a management position supervising the service division for 11 years. Larry obtained his Masters Electrical License, and on June 1st, 1996 Larry started Merit Electric Company in Saint Paul, Minnesota where it has been located for the past 10 years. Currently, Larry serves as a consultant for Merit Electric Company.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jeff Neuman

Jeff graduated with an Associate degree from Saint Paul Technical College in 1991 and has completed the 4 year apprenticeship program with the local 110. Jeff is also a licensed electrician in the state of Minnesota and obtained his Masters electrical license in 1998. Jeff worked as a foreman and service electrician until the fall of 2000.  He has since worked as an Estimator and Project Manager.  His experience in the field as a foreman and service electrician has been very beneficial to the customers and the company. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Laura Baldwin

Laura Baldwin graduated from the Minnesota School of Business with a degree in court reporting in 1991.  In December of 1996, Laura became employed by Merit Electric Company. Her position with Merit Electric is Office Manager with responsibilities including but not limited to dispatching electricians, taking care of customer requests and concerns, invoicing, etc.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rich Chermak

Richard Chermak is currently employed as an Estimator and Project Manager for Merit Electric Company and has held that position since August 2004.  Richard is also a licensed electrician in the state of Minnesota and has 10 years experience in electrical service and as a job foreman.  He has an Associate degree from Saint Paul Technical College and has completed the 4 year apprenticeship program with the local 110.  Richard enlisted in the Marine Corps in 1984 and worked in the communications field for 6 years. His experience working overseas includes Japan and Saudi Arabia. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Steve Shalikow

Steve has been employed with Merit Electric Company since February of 2006.  He graduated from Dunwoody College of Technology with an Associate degree in Electrical Construction and Maintenance in 2005, and continues to take management classes through the University of Wisconsin-Stout to obtain his Bachelors degree.  Steve enlisted in the Marines in 1996, and was stationed at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point located in Havelock, NC where he worked in the administration field for 4 years.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Suzie Neuman

Suzie Neuman has been employed at Merit Electric Company since June 1996.  Suzie duties include payroll, union reports, payroll reports, payables, etc.  Suzie previous employers include 3M, Allina Medical Group and Regina Medical Group where her duties ranged from payroll to scheduling.
